  • eBay Offices 625 6th Avenue New York, NY 10011 United States of America (map)

The Haas Alumni Network is pleased to invite all UC Berkeley alums to meet Professor Jennifer Chatman, one of the country's leading authorities on organizational culture.  She will discuss her research and consulting work which has revealed how organizational culture contributes to bottom line financial performance.

In her newest research with 39 of the largest high technology firms, Professor Chatman assessed organizational culture and tracked financial performance and found that those firms who developed consensus among members about the culture and emphasized innovation and adaptation intensively performed significantly better over a volatile four-year period.

Professor Chatman will conclude by offering a set of best practices that are relevant for cultivating effective cultures in any organization.
