Berkeley at the Movies: "At Berkeley"

  • IFC Center 323 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10014 United States of America (map)

UC Berkeley is internationally known for being a premier research and academic institution yet with constricting funds from the state it finds itself facing unprecedented operational challenges. Come watch acclaimed Frederick Wiseman's recently released film, At Berkeley, with fellow Bears and learn about the inner workings of our outstanding University. After viewing Wiseman's latest movie, deemed fascinating and immersive at the New York Film Fest, we'll head to a nearby bar or cafe to discuss the film from our unique perspectives as alumni.

Enhance your understanding of challenges facing our campus today and meet other like-minded alumni interested in ensuring that Cal remains the number one public University.

If you have any questions you can email our Co-Event Coordinator, Jourdan Janssen, at

What you'll get:

·        A discounted 244 minute trip to the Berkeley campus we know and love (no need to call a shuttle to JFK or take off your shoes in a security line)

·         Insight into Berkeley's current state of affairs
